The makhila, a traditional Basque walking stick, is handcrafted from wood and tailor-made based on the height and weight of the future owner. This limited edition makhila has been created in collaboration with Origine Ateliers, a workshop based in Biarritz. The jewellers at Origine Ateliers designed a makhila decorated with braided gold wires and semi-precious stones. The braided wires recall the Basque traditional dancing shoes, and the stones reference the colours of the Basque flag (green and red).
