Artisans at work: Mosaic making

Mosaic makers Laura Carraro & Mohamed Chabarik will be working live at Sala degli Arazzi, creating a unique framed mosaic based on their abstract design project. The artisans will demonstrate all the phases of the mosaic creation: while one of the masters will cut the tesserae (by hand with the chisel and the mosaic hammer), the other will lay them on the base with the cement adhesive.
