Eight Dining Table

A strong walnut wood tabletop is balanced on a steel base. The base is turned from metal, brushed, and burnt by hand in linseed oil, using an old technique that brings out the best in handcrafted steel finishes to create the black colour.

The Eight Table gets its name from the number eight ball in billiards, and just like the game the table design and construction are carefully calculated and planned down to the smallest detail. The table is designed to have a strong presence without taking over; rather, the materials speak for themselves and the proportions are a balance between delicateness and robustness.
