Poignee Fabrique Creative is a one-of-a-kind, multifaceted universe of artisanship with a fascinating history. The founder Ida Bazzi was a cosmopolitan intellectual, passionate about design and architecture, who opened an all-handle shop in central Rome in 1967, based on two clear pillars: specialisation and high-end craftsmanship at the centre of her offering. In 1997 her daughter Roberta Borra Cinque, current CEO of what has now become a Group, took over the successful business and extended it in several directions, while preserving the same vision.
Today, Poignee Fabrique Creative is a true metalworking fabrique, delivering a full range of services and products to clients – private or public, architects or designers, artists and artisans. It boasts a unique mix of in-house artisanal skills and state-of-the-art technology, enriched by a comprehensive and curated system of suppliers and partners able to carry out a variety of techniques on many different materials. The historical focus of Poignee Fabrique Creative on metalworking is still alive, also thanks to the acquisition of the renowned Domus Dei art foundry in 2017.
