The Toy Museum is located in the heart of the old town of Vilnius and overlooks the Gediminas Castle. In 2012, it was founded by Indrė Jovaišaitė-Blaževičienė and Povilas Blaževičius, people for whom toys and games are everything. The museum combines games and toy production with history in a family-friendly way. The visitors are given the chance to play with toy replicas, participate in workshops, listen to fairytales, and take part in discussions and conversations with professional educators.

The museum showcases ancient games and toys that have archeological and ethnographic significance. This way, the evolution of each object is showcased. The exhibition is based on in-depth research into archaeological toys of dating from the 12th to 19th centuries. It also holds a collection of toys mass-produced in Lithuania since the 20th century. Visitors can discover the Lithuanian past from the Stone Age until Soviet times and experience the entire history through toys.
