Nordic functionality and a sense of humour

In the charming neighbourhood of Nyboder in Central Copenhagen, you'll find Keramik & Glasværkstedet. Here, amidst old beautiful listed houses, the corner shop has large windows dressed in handmade objects and a clean Nordic vibe. Glasses, bowls, cups, teapots and vases are on sale alongside one-off art objects in a functional yet playful setting. The atmosphere is all about the owners' lifelong passion and fascination for glass and ceramics. The owners (four ceramicists and one glass artist), Annemette Kissow, the duo Claydies, Helene Stockmarr Gerdorf and Sia Mai, each take turns in the shop. That means you'll find experienced and skilled makers behind the counter.
