Inspiring Ikats

Teixits Riera has a shop next door to its atelier, where it showcases the beautiful Ikat fabrics they make. It is a truly unique experience to be able to see the making of such a sophisticated product, and then be able to buy either a finished product such as a placemat or a cushion, or metres of fabric. The quality of Ikats depends on many things, the raw material, the dying and the loom, each visitor can discuss the secret ingredients with the Mallorcan makers.
