A traditional tailor of capes

Seseña was established by Santos Seseña in 1901 in Calle Espoz y Mina, in the centre of Madrid. It was a little tailor shop for men, but capes were an important part of the label, because Seseña wanted to preserve its tradition. A new atelier-shop was opened at Calle de la Cruz, still its current location, specialising in capes. The shop and the atelier remain almost unchanged, with the facade painted in red. Nowadays the label offers fashionable and colourful designs. Some are crafted on commission by hand like the classical ones, others can be purchased ready made at the shop and online.
