Traditional Polish basket weaving

The Serfenta Shop is located on the premises of the Museum of Cieszyn Silesia, one of the oldest Museums in Central Europe. It was established by the Serfenta Association, which has been involved in education and research into basketry in Poland and abroad for over a decade. In collaboration with true masters of this craft, Serfenta weaves hand-braided baskets made entirely from natural plants. A unique collection, created from a desire to promote and preserve this traditional Polish craftsmanship. The shop is located at the seat of the Association with a gallery and a separate space where workshops for those interested are held.
