Venetian styled mirrors

Fondamenta dei Vetrai is the most important street in Murano, a place full of history and tradition which embodies the soul of the Glass Island. Here, not far from their historical workshop, Ongaro e Fuga recently inaugurated a new showroom completely dedicated to the Venetian styled mirrors that made the atelier famous. All of them have been entirely conceived and carefully handcrafted by the skilled artisans of the company. Ongaro e Fuga's artistic mirrors entail processing techniques – including engraving, plating, ageing – that can exceed 100 hours and comprise thousands of decorative elements. The company is also renowned for their savoir-faire in the art of restoration and reproduction of antique mirrors.
