Vintage Portuguese ceramics

For vintage ceramic lovers, you will enjoy visiting artisan Jorge Saraiva and his wife Milú who create local Portuguese utilitarian ceramics based on the late 19th and early 20th centuries models. You will first be shown around the atelier to understand about how the pieces are shaped, glazed and fired using traditional techniques. In the showroom you will be able to acquire an array of plates, bowls, and jugs decorated with poetic patterns evoking the sea, earth or air. The collections reiterate the importance of uniting family and friends around the table to share a good meal together.
