The temple of trimmings

The only shop of the Antica Fabbrica Passamanerie, Massia Vittorio is also housed in one of the best preserved period buildings in the centre of Turin, protected by the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage. Founded in 1880, the fascinating shop maintains the original historical furniture in rosewood and brass and its slightly severe elegance matches perfectly with the infinite variety of weavings, gimps, frogs, fringes and tassels on sale, precious accessories carefully handcrafted by the Massia artisans. The shop, as well as the Antica Fabbrica, is still run today by the Massia family, who founded their business six generations ago.
