A revival of Naples artisanal heritage

Bottega Made in Cloister creates new market opportunities for artisan productions that are in danger of disappearing. It is housed in the evocative 16th-century cloister of the Church of Santa Caterina a Formiello, completely refurbished in 2012 when it became seat to the Fondazione Made in Cloiser, a centre for art, performance and craft. The mission of the foundation is to recover the cultural heritage of the city of Naples and to use it for the revival of craft traditions with a contemporary spirit. Bottega Made in Cloister represents the outcome of unique and creative collaborations between local heritage artisans and manufacturers, and international artists and designers.
