Pieces inspired by the museum's collections

The shop of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia was founded in 1989 by the Association of the Friends of the Museum. Since its opening, its mission has been to promote knowledge and understanding of the history of Nicosia and Cyprus in general, through books, prints and museum replicas of the exhibits and objects, many of which are commissioned especially for the shop. The shop engages with designers and artisans, mainly Cypriots, to create handmade and unique products inspired by the museum’s collections, showcasing both traditional and modern techniques. In the shop, you may find limited edition loom-woven pieces by Joanna Louca, ceramics by Efthymios Symeou and much more.
