The Lace Centre in Bruges hosts a museum, a training centre, workshops, and a lace shop. The Lace Museum exposes some top works from Bruges' collections. Lace techniques, lace education and the magic of old and contemporary lace are presented interactively and by means of multimedia. In the afternoons visitors can watch live demonstrations in the workshop on the upper floor. The Lace Centre has developed into an important centre of know-how regarding lace. It organizes lace workshops for young people and it trains future lace teachers.

At the centre one can be fascinated by the treasures of a specialized library and in the big shop one can find a large selection of lace books, folders with patterns, lace material and souvenirs. Moreover, in the shop, amateurs can buy authentic handmade laces. Four times per year a lace magazine is published with information, tip-offs, and patterns.
