A hub for Portugal's creatives

ICON was founded in 2016 as a shop dedicated to Portuguese and Portugal based artists and artisans. Curated by Maria Manuel Lacerda, she sources directly from the various studios in Portugal. Altogether there are more than 60 makers from fields including: illustration, ceramics, jewelry, leatherwork, textiles, stationary, design, engraving and more. This shop creates a unique meeting point between the talent of the artists and those who appreciate it. ICON also offers a space for pop up events, where artisans can give live presentations of their work and host workshops. These are intended to sensibilize and inspire the public through the making process.
