Much more than a boutique, House of Filigree is also an atelier, where master artisans create intricate contemporary handmade filigree jewellery pieces available for sale, and a museum exhibiting fine historical objects. Luisa and Pedro Rosas, whose family is generationally linked to filigree, opened this space to protect and preserve the art of Portuguese handmade filigree endangered by cheaper mass-produced machine alternatives. Accessories such as handmade leather goods and writing items, all produced in Portugal, can also be acquired.
