Contemporary jewellery and craftsmanship

In 1979 Galerie Hilde Leiss was founded as a gallery for modern design. It showcases jewellery, textiles, glass, and wood works, as well as art. Master goldsmith Hilde Leiss has been training apprentices since the foundation of her workshop with an emphasis on female goldsmiths. In her gallery, she regularly hosts exhibitions with a focus on extraordinary works by young designers and renowned jewellery artists. Since the gallery space expanded in 2015, exhibitions also include prints, sculptures and paintings. Among the artists and craftspeople supported by the gallery are Brigitte Morck, Elke Martens, Fritz Baumann and Ernst Gamperl.
