A gem for contemporary glass collectors

Contemporary sculpture and painting are the focus of Galerie B in Sinzheim. The gallery was founded by Barbara Koppelstätter in 1992, when the upcoming studio glass movement spread across the world from the USA. Independent of the large furnaces of the glass studios, many artists were now able to freely work with hot glass regardless of function and purpose. Over the years Galerie B has established itself as a sought-after address for collectors, museums and lovers of contemporary glass objects and international studio glass from all over the world. However, despite the specialisation in glass, almost all the featured artists work in different materials or in mixed media.
