Stationery and typography

One of Milan’s hidden gems is a stationery store, which also offers typography. It was first opened in 1909 and brought to life again in 2014 by a group of friends who fell in love with its history, memories and cultural value. A thorough and conservative restoration of the space and its features has preserved the allure of the shop, with its eclectic choice of vintage and contemporary supplies. To step in the original typography is a leap in time, a treasure trove of drawers with countless typographic characters – testimonials of over a century of Italian history – immersed in the persisting ink smell of the still functioning printing machines. The latest addition in what used to be the warehouse is a bookstore with a curated selection of titles and rare editions that has become a destination for connoisseurs and members of the design and fashion community.
