Espadrilles for everyone

The Don Quichosse shop is located in Mauléon, in the Basque Country, the stronghold of the espadrille. This is where Timothée Cangrand and his team of true enthusiasts manufacture their espadrilles in the purest tradition, inspired by ancient models but adapted to today’s fashion. Each shoe is designed in a 100 percent natural way: cotton for the canvas, jute for the sole, rubberwood for the composition of the rubber. Plain, striped, wedge classics – it's impossible not to find a trendy espadrille for your feet. And with the atelier situated next door, it is easy to get a guided tour explaining all the manufacturing steps: braiding, weaving, vulcanization, sewing.
