Design House Wapsva LT is a place for Lithuanian design in Šiauliai where one can find accessories, ceramics, jewellery, furniture and interior pieces created by the most famous designers. Wapsva is a version of the Lithuanian word “vapsva”, a wasp. The owner and founder Irmina Savickienė says about the company’s name: “A wasp is a curious, active, graceful, very dynamic and sometimes angry insect. This description fits my style. Besides, a woman is sometimes said to be as thin as a wasp in Lithuanian. Covering both fashion and interior, Wapsva is a progressive, dynamic Lithuanian design store where one can get acquainted with the latest Lithuanian design trends and purchase one-off pieces. Presentations of fashion collections, showcases of products, workshops and lectures take place here. Successfully operating since 2014, Wapsva has become home to more than 70 Lithuanian brands and creators and is a member of the Lithuanian Design Forum.
