Exquisite trimmings and tassels

Parquet on the floor, fuchsia and orange walls and the most representative objects produced by the atelier, this shop, located in Paris near to the metro stop Etienne Marcel, tells the story of a small trimmings atelier which became an internationally known family company. This beautiful shop also includes an amazing museum section where you can see trimmings from the era of Louis XIV until today and you can explore, through them, the different styles and their evolution. The art of the passementerie dates five centuries, with a guild that was established in France in the 16th century: in this shop, entirely devoted to trimmings and tassels, you can still feel the scent of this traditional and ancient art.
