Bookbinding in the heart of Turin

The Bottega Fagnola shop is located in the heart of Turin, just in front of where the world-famous Lavazza coffee company originated in 1895. Known in the 19th century as Contrada degli Argentieri, the street is part of the historic city centre, which has maintained its medieval layout made of narrow alleys. Bottega Fagnola’s workshop was born in the same area in 1955, 100 metres from the current shop, in the house of the Romagnano family, a historic building in via dei Mercanti. The shop sells handmade diaries, address books, albums, lined boxes as well as customised or personalised objects. Among the services offered is the stamping of names or initials on the items purchased.
