Contemporary glass from traditional roots

In Berengo Studio, contemporary art and the glorious tradition of glass working (in Murano, dating back to 1291) have been building a fruitful relationship since 1989, when Adriano Berengo made his furnace a place where international artists and designers could create innovative artworks in glass, at the same time changing the history of this ancient medium through pioneering techniques. An array of unique pieces created here are displayed and can be bought in the gallery adjacent to the studio (and in the nearby Berengo Art Space). After discovering the process of the making of the glass artworks from the very beginning in the furnace to their final destination, customers can also buy a beautiful piece to take home.
