A celebration of ceramics and paper

Ceramics and paper are the signature of Barcel-One, an art, design, and crafts gallery founded in 2010 by Roberto Silvestrini and Juergen Rothfuss. They seek to connect past and future through pieces both by contemporary artists, craftspeople and renowned masters, among them ceramics by Picasso and Miró. You will find works by artisans from Catalonia, Switzerland, Venezuela, Brasil or Argentina, including Silvestrini himself. Most of the exhibited pieces are defined by their size. As Roberto Silvestrini explains, “We ask our artisans to think of the final collector, usually travellers who need to take the object back to their countries”.
