In the centre of Milan, a few minutes from Piazza Duomo, there is a truly special gallery, the only one of its kind in all of Italy: at Babs, the universe of jewellery meets the world of art. Barbara Lo Bianco, mind and soul of Babs Art Gallery, opened this space in 2018, to revive the lost tradition of the artistic jewel, that is, a jewel made from the design of a great artist. Through new collections created specifically for Babs, Barbara wants to rekindle this exchange and carry on a very clear philosophy: that art work is not only a beautiful object to put in our homes, but also something more usable that we can wear every day. In addition to the new collections, part of the gallery is dedicated to historical pieces made by great names such as Arnaldo Pomodoro, Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Cocteau.
