Paper paradise

Linked to the nearby atelier and run by the same group of young artisans, Antica Legatoria Ofer, previously owned by master artisan Alberto Valese, is a shop dedicated to traditional bookbinding. Here you can find books, notebooks, handmade prints, photo albums, paper and stationery objects, all lined with colourful covers in a variety of patterns. Rubber stamps and marbled papers in Western, Japanese and Turkish (Ebrù) styles are also available. Everything is handmade with low-impact, sustainable and recycled materials, using traditional techniques, authentic machinery and tools, like a cast iron press and cardboard cutter shears that can be admired in the shop.
