The best of Irish craft and design

Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established the Irish Design Shop in 2008. Renowned for the best of Irish craft and design, the store offers products which embody a rich combination of the traditional and the contemporary. Representing emerging and established makers, the shop stocks jewellery, ceramics, prints, glass and much more. Well known Irish brands including Jerpoint glass are available alongside the work of ceramicist Mark Campden, weaver Eddie Doherty and basketmaker Hanna Van Aelst. In 2018, the shop opened the first floor, where customers can see a functioning jewellery maker’s workbench. This floor is also home to the shop's in-house jewellery collection, Names, an elegant modern collection inspired by stories of real Irish women.
