Wäscheflott is a family business, which was founded by Rudolf Stekl Senior in 1948. It specialises in the creation of bespoke shirts and blouses. It was set up at a time when people were yearning to dress up and enjoy social events again after years of deprivation during the war. The business bloomed since the very beginning and soon many famous personalities were regular customers and wore their shirts with pride. The shop’s design is unique as it still reflects the time it was built in, the 1950s. Even more impressive is the fact that Wäscheflott still handmake the shirts in its atelier in Vienna. Today, Beatrix Weissel runs the business and is the third generation to do so.
