Pick up a true Austrian classic

In 1949 the couple Jochen and Marlen Tostmann started making dirndls, costumes and other craft objects with only a manual loom and an old sewing machine. Since then the business has grown and gained worldwide recognition. Within Austria, a Tostmann dirndl is now considered a true classic and a must-have item. Tostmann started its glorious journey in Seewalchen am Attersee. While a flagship store and a little workshop opened in Vienna’s city centre in 1967 and still continue satisfying Viennese customers today, the headquarters and original shop remain in the charming little town of Seewalchen am Attersee, where most of Tostmann's clothes are made.
