A unique identity

In the heart of Haparanda, on the border between Sweden and Finland, lies Tornedal & co., a point of reference for both locals and tourists since it opened in 2015. Founded by Marju Matsin, Terese Östling and Carina Hardell, it is currently run by the first two, while Carina remains one of the artisans represented in the shop. As well as Carina's woollen handicrafts, the shop presents a collection based on Erica Huuva’s silver jewellery, leather accessories by Nordsvala and work by many other designers, artists and artisans. Being a showroom, a café and an art gallery in one, and representing the arts and design from the Torne Valley, Tornedal & co. has a unique identity.
