An experimental hub

Officine Saffi was created in 2011 by Laura Borghi to promote contemporary ceramics. This experimental hub consists of a gallery, a laboratory, a biennial competition and a publishing house. The gallery proposes a careful selection of international artists who have chosen ceramics as a medium of expression. The laboratory organises workshops and masterclasses of various levels and follows the work of artists and designers who are using this material for the first time. Finally, its international Open to Art competition brings to light and rewards new talents in contemporary ceramics.
