Showcasing the best of Czech design

Visitors to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (UPM) will come across a design shop on its ground floor: Modernista. The shop offers a wide range of high quality products which reflect the museum's focus. On display are exclusive replicas of originals from the museum's archive, a fine selection of contemporary Czech design objects and numerous specialised publications about applied arts and artists. Porcelain, glass and metal design pieces are showcased here, along with tasteful stationery and wooden toys. This showroom is one of four Prague outlets for Modernista, which has a 20-year tradition of offering the best of Czech design from the last 100 years.
