Showcasing the best of Czech design

Probably the most significant Art Nouveau building in Prague, the Municipal House is home to countless cultural events, along with the design shop Modernista. The shop's window displays mesmerise visitors with a diverse range of exclusive goods: replicas of cubist pottery, applied art objects and contemporary design pieces. From exquisite ceramics and porcelain to glass and jewellery, the pieces date from Czech Cubism through to functionalism and contemporary design. This showroom is one of four belonging to Modernista, which has a 20-year tradition of showcasing the best of Czech design from the last 100 years.
