Nino Kvavilashvili is the founder and director of Gallery 27, which was established in 2013. She is also one of the founders and board members of the Traditional Handicraft Association of Georgia. Nino’s main activities include textile design in different techniques: batik, shibori, patchwork and quilting. Located in one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the city, Gallery 27 is open every day to present handmade artworks by local artists. For example, the Georgian blue table cloth produced at the experimental laboratory of Tbilisi State Academy of Art and a unique ceramic collection of Georgian porcelain, faience and red clay.
