Exquisite arts and crafts

The Bayerischer Kunstgewerbeverein is a member organisation that strives to raise public awareness of the arts and crafts and deepen understanding of their cultural importance. The association runs a shop for exquisite arts and crafts in the centre of Munich. Here you will find a constantly changing selection of high-quality contemporary works made by members of the association, including jewellery, silverware, ceramics, glass, textiles, wooden objects and paper products. Every work is unique or part of a small series. The exhibition series Portrait in the Shop focuses on the works of an individual member and provides information about the specific materials and techniques used.
