Visit a weaving workshop

Enrich your exhibition experience at the Cité international de la tapisserie taking part in the guided tours centred on the theme of the craftsmanship in Aubusson. The museum offers a private visit of its weaving workshop and looms. Visitors have the chance to see weaving in action on an eight metre-long loom and to discover the techniques and different steps required to design a tapestry from start to finish. Visitors can also see inside the restoration workshop every Thursday between 2 pm and 4 pm. Guided tours in English are by reservation only (except July and August).
