Immerse yourself in the world of Araminta Campbell and meet the makers who create hand-woven textiles on traditional George Wood looms, dating from post-war Britain. Situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh, the atelier is housed in a listed farmhouse in a beautiful site outside Edinburgh. This experience takes you behind the scenes, to witness the craftsmanship and dedication at play. On this visit of the atelier, you will discover the techniques employed at Araminta Campbell, which is the largest producer of commercial handwoven tartan in Scotland. Whilst in the atelier, there is the opportunity to shop the collection of signature pieces, one-of-a-kind products made from 100% undyed British alpaca. This opportunity starts at 150 GBP on weekdays and 250 GBP on weekends. Arrangements must be made in advance with the atelier.
