Step into a jewellery maker's workshop

Led by Sian Evans, this tour is an insight into her working life as a jewellery maker. It takes place in her vibrant Hackney jewellery studio in London. Sian will talk about the rare art of glyptics, and participants will learn about hardstone carving and goldsmithing. The artisan will show how her pieces are made and demonstrate some of her techniques. Sian's studio is both a workshop filled with the tools of her trade and a place of inspiration, a cabinet of curiosities located within walking distance from Broadway Market. The tour is arranged by appointment and generally takes place on weekdays between 10:30 and 17:00. A special Saturday tour can be organised to coincide with Broadway street market (North London's iconic Victorian street market).
