Learn to apply nuno felt to a fabric

Felting wool is a natural process, for which you do not need any tool or loom – it is just about working with your hands to create a felt fabric. It is a natural process in which you join wool fibres together through movement and heat. In the historic centre of Barcelona, master weaver Teresa Risa Aguayo shares the experience of this ancient technique with her masterclass. During the 2-day workshop, Teresa will demonstrate several exercises for students to see how felt behaves in different fabrics. By the end of the class, each student will have a personally designed and felted handkerchief using high quality merino wool and silk. The course is run over two days, with four hours of class per day.
