A weaving experience in a picturesque Polish town

Weaver Marta Pokojowczyk offers a tour of her studio located in the picturesque town of Suprasl. She will start by showing the two main spaces: one where you can see Marta’s works, such as woven landscapes, 3D canvases and mixed-media paintings, and the other room with the wooden loom and instruments. Marta will explain the specifics of her work and show the major steps of handweaving, from concept to final item. After visiting Marta’s shop, you can also stop by a local restaurant to try traditional north-eastern Polish dishes or take a long walk around Knyszyńska Forest.
