Hear how the ancient shepherds played

The ceramic whistle was both a toy and a musical instrument in ancient times. It is one of the oldest Lithuanian toys. Children usually made whistles to play with while herding animals, so they are often shaped like animals or birds. Although whistles look very simple, crafting them to make sound is not so easy. Deividas Jotautis, a ceramicist with 30 years of experience, will teach you how to make music out of them, and how to shape and decorate them. Within a week after the workshop the whistle is dry, then fired and can be sent to you for an additional fee.
