An introduction to willow weaving
8 hours Max 7 people70 eurosUnder the expert guidance of Ciaran Hogan explore the traditional craft of willow weaving. These short courses are a great introduction to the basics of basket making. Make your own basket from start to finish, which you can take home with you. Learn about how the willow is grown and prepared for use. Detailed notes are provided at the end of the course, covering all the weaving techniques from the class, as well as all the information on the willow growing process. These workshops book up far in advance, so be sure to plan ahead. If there are no spaces on your preferred date, sign up to the waiting list in case of a last-minute cancellation.
