Learn to fire using a wood kiln

Ceramicist and kiln designer Michael Sälzer offers ceramic professionals and ambitious amateurs the opportunity to get to know contemporary woodburning kilns and to fire their own works. The small, fast and energy saving kilns are a serious alternative to classic wood kilns. Besides an introduction to the technique of firing with wood, intensive knowledge of burners, gas types, insulating materials, firing curves and measuring techniques is offered.
