The story of wood

The tour around Vienkoči Park and Woodcraft Museum gives an insight into the traditional woodworking, dating back centuries and embracing handiwork. At the museum-workshop, you will discover different historical woodworking machines, learn about their functions, and have a chance to try your hand at this ancient craft. Although it’s a museum, wood craftsmen work there daily, creating different wood objects, sculptures and models, especially focusing on single-piece wood creations – many of which you will be able to discover walking around Vienkoči Park where you will also learn about nature and green initiatives. Book in advance (at least 2 weeks prior).
