Seven approaches to shaping metal

Erik Tidäng is one of seven artist-artisans working in LOD, a studio/gallery established in 1999. In the workshop, goldsmiths, silversmiths and a blacksmith work alongside each other, either individually or together. They are all driven by the ambition to create new things and to bring metal craftsmanship into the future. In this experience, participants will learn the story of LOD, how it all came about and how Erik and the other members of the studio work with ideas and objects. Visitors are introduced to the workshop and invited to look behind the scenes, witnessing how metal is shaped by the artisans using their various metal forming techniques. This experience can be arranged for minimum 10 people, maximum 20 people.
