Introduction to the loom

The weaving atelier created by Le Costantine Foundation – inside their country estate close to Otranto – is both a professional learning centre and an opportunity for anyone willing to experience an introduction to this ancient craft. It has developed the nickname the “Singing and Loving” atelier. While the professional courses are specifically addressed to the women of the area, embodying the mission of the Foundation to empower them and create a fly-wheel for the growth and development of the territory, other workshops are open to anyone interested. For those who have only one hour available, the atelier welcomes individuals and small groups of visitors who can join a guided tour introducing the project, and put their hands on the loom for the very first time.
Groups 2-5 people 30 euros per person; 6-10 people 20 euros; 11-20 people 15 euros. Tour in English additional 70 euros, out of opening times additional 50 euros.
