Weave your own tapestry

Silvija Juozelskytė invites you to get to know one of the oldest plant fibres – flax fibre and experience the joy of weaving. You will get acquainted with ancient Lithuanian weaving looms, learn and see how they work. You will have the opportunity to try weaving yourself. You will learn all about flax - an extraordinary plant, and all of its trials until it becomes a cloth. The life of flax is extraordinary, from seed to fibre. You will be able to weave a mini tapestry yourself, using yarns of different textures.
