The beauty of carving your own spoon

Ricardo, an industrial designer and self-taught wood sculptor, organises workshops to pass on his passion for turning, carving and sculpting wood. Participants embark on a journey to learn how to carve their own wooden spoon using traditional tools and following artisanal techniques. They will discover the best types of wood to use and how to select them correctly. Special attention is given to ensure the tools are used safely at all times. At the end of the course each participant leaves with a memorable experience and a beautiful object to tell the story. No woodworking experience is necessary.
